What a fantastic place! The breakfast is amazing and very personal, without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. The location is perfect, right on the beach — you can’t ask for more.
The host is incredibly friendly and caring. He truly looks after you and makes sure you always feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Nothing is too much trouble: he brings fresh juices, gives great food and travel recommendations, and even offers rides to the city center or bus station.
The rooms are clean and well maintained, and the price–quality ratio is excellent.
I will definitely come back and I’m so happy I found this place. Highly recommended!

There's not a soul on the beach here in August. Heaven.
August is a time of strong waves in Bentota. My husband and I have managed to swim, but apart from us, we've only seen swimming in Bentota itself, and Villa Susi is a 10-minute bus ride from Bentota. It's kind of suburban.
So - the owner met us in the street when we, tired, with suitcases, were shaving on the way from Induruwa station , since we arrived by train. We lived at Sussie's for five days - and it was very good.
Because you're "out of season" in August - we were alone, no one else in the guesthouse or on the beach. Beach from the villa 30 seconds walk . for breakfast - chic plate with fruit, tea, coffee, pastries! For dinner - we bought a kilo of shrimp and asked Sussie to cook it for us two nights in a row... It was delicious. The room is a bit dark and needs repair. Be sure to close the door to the toilet so that insects do not run in, although there is a mosquito net over the bed, spread it and everything will be okay. Anyway - we liked everything, even a little tired room. But the main thing is the ocean - it's gorgeous here. (but in August waves) approach to the ocean - through the jungle..

No, no! Unbelievable!
We had reserved a room in the "Susee Villa" and had a taxi take us there. We had high expectations because the pictures of the rooms on "Booking.com" were very inviting. We were then shown our room. It was small, dark and smelled strongly of mold. Unbelievable! They obviously work with fake photos. Terrible!

Private beach access
Loved this place, susee was very sweet and he even arranged us a bike for travel. We had private beach access and had a blast, the food was amazing as well. It is closer to other beaches aa well. Would recommend it 100%.

Отличное проживание !!!
Хозяин виллы, Сусси отличный человек, один из самых лучших , кто нам встречался на Шри) Мы жили 2 дня после прилёта и один день перед вылетом. Завтраки просто бомбичнские, фруктов много, блинчики , гамбургеры , кофе, чай. Можно заказывать и обеды и ужин . Сусси готовил нам креветки гриль , очень вкусно. Заказывали тунца , стейки гриль 👍. Пляж в 1 минуте от виллы, людей очень мало, собственные лежаки , релакс👍. На пляже слево есть кафе . Очень вкусно готовят лобстера , рыбку. Очень отзывчивые парни , хозяева кафе. На вилле много зелени , комната большая, просторная . Трансфер в аэропорт брали у Сусси 👍 ., так же через него снимали скутер на 2 дня и тук тук на 10 дней, цена очень приемлемая 👍. Вообщем советую 👍

Susee the superhost
Dear Susee, Thank you very much for being always so kind and helpfully. We enjoyed our stay at your home pretty much. Brilliant
Thank you Susee for an amazing stay. Your hospitality, communication, knowledge of the local area and breakfast was unbelievable. The location next to the beach and the Bentota Rock restaurant just made everything even better.

Paradise
Сусси очень заботливый хозяин. Бронировали, основываясь на отзывах и реальность выше ожиданий. Все чисто, красиво, уютно. Любые вопросы решаются быстро, начиная от трансфера из аэропорта до мелких бытовых вопросов. Номер полностью соответствует описанию на сайте, великолепный безлюдный пляж всего в 2 минутах пешком. Сад чистый и ухоженный, приятно посидеть вечером под пальмами. Встреча Нового года - это отдельная тема, но столик на пляже был великолепен! Благодаря Сусси получили хорошую скидку на Новогодний ужин. Так же посетили речное сафари на 2 часа и черепаховую ферму по очень хорошей цене. Очень рекомендуем. Мы обязательно вернемся к Сусси в будущем!
Sussi is a very caring host. Armored based on feedback and reality above expectations. Everything is clean, beautiful, cozy. Any questions are solved quickly, from airport transfer to small household issues. The room is fully consistent with the description on the site, a magnificent deserted beach is just 2 minutes walk away. The garden is clean and well-groomed, nice to sit in the evening under palm trees. Meeting New year - this is a separate theme, but the table on the beach was great! Thanks to sussi received a good discount for Christmas dinner. Also visited river Safari for 2 hours and turtle farm at very good price. Very recommend. We will definitely return to sussi in the future!

Moyen....
Chambre sentait vraiment tres mauvais et elle etait sale. Tres bon dejeuner. Susee est gentil et propose plusieurs activites avec son tuk tuk mais il y a quelques arnaques....il nous a amené dans un jardin d epices avec tour des plantes et explications , le massage etait tres bien mais en lusant le soir on apprend que c est une arnaque de haut niveau et les produits sont faux. Les chauffeurs recoivent une commissions...vraiment déçus et moins en confiance. Le tour de bateau etait super bien et il nous transportait partout avec gentillesse. Le soir nous avions convenu d aller a un endroit pour les tortues msis on a realise apres qu il nous avait amene a un autre endroit moins respectueux des tortues...probablement une autre commission....l acces a la plage de l hôtel est vraiment bien. On a juste l impression qu on reste sur nos gardes ce qui est dommage.

Kleines Paradies
Susee’s Villa war unsere letzte Station auf unserer Reise und es war der perfekte Abschluss.
Ganz tolle neue Zimmer im Hinterhof mit einem schönen Garten und nur 1 min zum Strand wo man Liegen umsonst bekommt.
Susee ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und immer da wenn man ihn braucht. Ich kann jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten.

Perfekter Gastgeber
Wir buchten ein Zimmer in Susee‘s Villa auf Grund der sehr guten Bewertungen auf booking.com und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!
Nachdem erste Zweifel auf Grund des schmucklosen Eingangsbereiches aufkamen, waren wir umso mehr von der Gestaltung des „Innen-Garten“ überrascht. Alles ist wirklich sehr gepflegt und sauber. Susee hatte bis jetzt nur zwei Zimmer zur Übernachten zur Verfügung, wir waren die ersten Gäste die in dem neuen, dritten Zimmer übernachten durften.
Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich und bietet genügend Platz.
Nun zum besten: Susee selbst ist ein seeeeehr sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, er kümmert sich gerne um jegliche Belange und ist sehr einfühlsam. Jeden Tag wird durch ihn und seine Familie Frühstück serviert (sehr große Obstteller und zB Rotti). Das Frühstück ist im Übernachtungspreis beinhaltet. Zudem bietet Susee Tuktuk Fahrten zu einem fairen Preis an. (Nach Bentota für 200 Rupien)
Zum Strand geht man ca. 1 Minute, dort gibt es ein kleines Restaurant das sehr leckere Speisen anbietet, zusätzlich gibt es dort Sonnenliegen und Wlan gratis dazu.
Fazit: für entspannte Tage ist dieses Hotel definitiv zu empfehlen, alles ist sehr sauber und hygienisch, das Frühstück ist toll und Susee + seine Familie sind sehr nette, höfliche und zuvorkommende Menschen.
Auf unserer kompletten 3-wöchigen Sri Lanka Reise hatten wir immer sehr nette Gastgeber, Susee hat jedoch alle getoppt!
Falls ich nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen sollte, werde ich definitiv wieder hier übernachten. 😊👍

maravillosa estancia en este hotel tan familiar
Nos sentimos como en casa, con esta familia tan agradable. La habitación era nueva, muy grande, y ellos se esmeraron en que estuviésemos a gusto. Nunca antes nos habían tratado tan bien. El desayuno muy bueno, y el té, de los mejores que hemos probado en Sri Lanka. Aunque no esté en primera línea de playa, tardas un minuto. Incluso puedes ir descalzo.

Great start into Sri Lanka
I stayed for 2 1/2 nights with Susee and his charming family! Already got greeted friendly in the middle of the night after arriving directly from the airport. Best tea I had! He took me around in his tuck tuck to find some food and Medicine:-)
There is a tiny lane in the dschungle directly behind the house leading to the beach .. a quiet long stretched bay with some palm trees for shade. At this end there was only one hotel and a bar/ restaurant, where you can use the sunbeds and hammocks if you like and get a drink or food. The villa has only 2 rooms and is a bit outside of Bentota but only a small tuck tuck ride away!
I think this was actually the best beach we stayed at!!

Perfekter Urlaubsabschluss !
Pure Entspannung! Die Susee Villa ist nur ein paar Schritte von traumhaftschönem und kilometerlangem Strand entfernt( mit Liegemöglichkeiten im Schatten). Der Besitzer Susee war so zuvorkommend und aufmerksam,er und seine sympatische Familie haben unser Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Absolute Sauberkeit im Zimmer plus gepflegter Garten! Morgens wurde ein leckeres Frühstück mit viel Obst serviert ( himmlische Pfannkuchen mit Kokos!).
Die Unterkunft hat zwei Zimmer(ein mit Klimaanlage), bequeme Betten,heisses Wasser, Moskitonetze und Ventilator( es waren aber fast keine Mücken gesichtet)).
Der Susee besitzt auch ein Tuktuk und man kann zu fairen Preisen überall hin.
Wir wollen uns hier bei der ganzen Familie für Ihre Fürsorge, für die Herzlichkeit, für interessante Gespräche zu bedanken !!!

Best weekend ever!
Thank you so much Susee for the most wonderful weekend! The room was lovely - clean and spacious. The beach was beautiful and not busy at all which we loved! Susee was the most helpful host and made us feel so welcome and relaxed. He told us all the deals in the area and gave us so many useful tips - even gave us a Tuk tuk ride to the boat safari which he organised for us. Breakfast in the morning was so delicious - fresh fruit and delicious Sri Lankan tea. Amazing location surrounded by palm trees! We couldnt recommend this place enough and hope to be back very soon!! Thank you Susee! You’re a legend!
